We have a wonderful family of staff who helps us provide high-quality veterinary medicine to your pets. Our compassionate team stays busy answering phone calls, accommodating the doctor and tending to your pets as if they were their own. Amy
Practice Manager
Amy graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in biological sciences. Amy did a year long program at Grayson Technical Educational Program in high school under the care of an RVT. This program opened many doors and helped Amy gain enough experience to become Practice Manager here at Shepherd. Although just a manager/ technician now, Amy hopes to go to vet school to become a veterinarian in the near future.
Sydney
Veterinary Assistant
Sydney is a recent graduate from Georgia Gwinnett College where she received her B.S in Biology. Her passion has always been animal care and throughout the years she has learned and made so many great memories. From taking part in a bird conservation project to volunteering with horses, she loves all animals big and small. Although, if she were picking favorites it would have to be her four rescued fur babies. She has since joined the SAH team where she continues to learn and improve in her abilities as a veterinary assistant.
Victoria
Veterinary Assistant
Victoria has always loved animals. Growing up her family had three dogs that’s she always cared for and now has two cats Diego and Tiger to love. Victoria did a work study her senior year in high school at a veterinary clinic. She also has previous experience working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. She is enjoying using her experience and love of animals working at SAH as a veterinary technician. In the future, Victoria would like to become a Veterinarian.
Cydney
Veterinary Assistant
Cydney is a 2023 Spring graduate from Savannah State University with a degree in Marine Sciences! She’s always had a passion for animal health but has a specific interest in Marine/Aquatic animals and marine conservation. In high school, Cydney participated in the Grayson Technical Program under a RVT which gave her a glimpse into Veterinary Medicine. She’s now at Shepherd to learn as much as possible to prepare her for Vet school in the future
Katie
Customer Service Representative
Katie is one of our Customer Service Representatives here at SAH. She has studied animals and been around them her entire life. From large to small, she loves them all! Katie really enjoys establishing a relationship with patients and clients and wants everyone to feel welcome when coming into the hospital. On her off days, she enjoys spending time with her three rescue girls. Ruby Jane (Hound mix), Khloe Belle (Collie mix) , and Oakley Mae (Shepherd mix). She hopes to one day open her own non-profit rescue, so she can save animals the way they have saved her!
Chantelle
Customer Service Representative
Chantelle is our Front Desk Receptionist, she strives to make sure that the owners and pets feel welcomed and at ease when coming in, especially when it is their first time with us.
On her free time she loves to go on hikes see new scenery and spend time with family. She has 2 dogs, Charleigh and Pacino.
She also has been working in the field for about 3 and a half years. In the future Chantelle would like to become a vet tech.
